
Papercade: Say hello to scrapgaming!
For 5 months I worked with the amazing team at Hololabs on Papercade, a gorgeous, joyful CMF-supported social game-creation app for making and sharing diorama-inspired pop-up games with your friends.
I worked with the team under their creative director to help take the game design from the prototype stage into development, identifying key features, identifying user stories and writing feature briefs. I also helped to implement and iterate on camera and movement controls, and designed and balanced the in-game economy — a fascinating challenge for a game focused on free and open exchange of user-created content.
The game launched in 2014 and is now available on iOS.
